Day 1: Saturday :Board the Maharajas' Express in Delhi - Onto Jaipur (Embark- 2200 hrs)

Board the Train Delhi onto Jaipur-After a traditional welcome complete your registration formalities and proceed to board the train and enjoy on board dinner as your begin this wonderful journey

Day 02:Sunday Jaipur

Jaipur - After on board breakfast proceed to visit the Amber Fort followed by an Elephant Polo match with lunch at an exclusive venue. In the afternoon you can enjoy optional activities- Spa Treatment/Shopping/Golf/visit to City Palace and Jantar Mantar.

Jaipur also known as a "Pink city of Rajasthan". Mainly mentioned in the tourist spot of India because for its traditional assets of Mugal heritage. Hawa mahal, Amber fort, moat lake, chambers of mirrors (Sheesh Mahal), the hall of victory and various forts. Day 03: Tuesday : Ranthambore - Fatehpur Sikri

Ranthambore - Fatehpur Sikri - Embark on an exciting game drive into the Ranthambore National Park. Enjoy lunch onboard as you enter into Fatehpur Sikri. Visit the Sikri Fort.

Day 04: Wednesday : Agra

Agra - Gwalior- Disembark for an early morning visit to the exquisite Taj Mahal followed by a champagne breakfast. Continue to Gwalior. Relish lunch at the 120 year old Usha Kiran Palace, followed by a tour of the magnificent Gwalior Fort and Opulent Jai Vilas Palace Museum with Hi- tea in the palace compounds.

Agra, the tremendous way of explorations of the wonders of India, Taj Mahal, mainly the truest love monument of Sahajahan for his beloved Mamtaj. The monument of white Taj speaks the various history of the bygone era of the Mugal dynasty. Besides, there is the red stone monument Fatehpur Sikri, Agra Fort, Akbar's tomb with its extreme royal architecture of Mugal Era.

Day 5: Thursday : Orchha - Khajuraho

Orchha - Khajuraho - Proceed to the bejeweled Jahangiri Mahal in Orchha and continue to the world Heritae temples of Khajuraho

Day 6: Friday : Varanasi

Varanasi - Tour the holy city of Varanasi including the ancient ruins of Sarnath, Varanasi Silk Weaving Centre and a scenic cruise on the sacred Ganges. Witness the magical evening Aarti on the ghats of the Ganges.

Unravel the history of the Mutiny of 1857 at the Residency as you explore her ruins and visit the main Residency building which houses an interesting Museum displaying the original model of the Residency, old lithographs, photographs, paintings, documents and period-objects.

Experience the imperialistic splendour and mystical elegance of the Nawabs of Awadh as you visit their architectural wonders like the famous 'Rumi Darwaza', a beautifully ornamented gateway;

thespectacular Bada Imambara considered being the largest vaulted apartment in the world comprising of ornamental gateways, corridors and galleries.

Following lunch on board, the afternoon will be at leisure for you to relax.

This evening you will be transported into the glorious era of the Nawabs of Awadh as you experience the traditional hospitality typical to the Royal Houses, celebrating an 'Indian Evening'. The mesmerising music, exquisite courtesan dance and the Royal Culinary Delights from the Nawabi kitchens - all combine to bring alive the elegance and charm of the Nawabi era.

Then return to the train and continue on your onward journey.

Day 7: Saturday: Lucknow

Lucknow - Welcome to the enchanted 'City of Nawabs', Lucknow. Tour the Rumi Darwaza and the spectacular Bada Imambara. Opt to explore the bustling markets of the royal city. Experience the elegance and charm of traditional hospitality during an exclusive dinner and relish Awadhi cuisine from the Royal Kitchen

Lucknow is the capital city of Uttar Pradesh and it has always been a multicultural city. Courtly manners, beautiful gardens, poetry, music, and fine cuisine patronized by the Persian-loving Shia Nawabs of the city are well known amongst Indians and students of South Asian culture and history. Lucknow is popularly known as the The City of Nawabs.It is also known as the Golden City of the East, Shiraz-i-Hind and The Constantinople of India.

Day 8: Sunday: Disembark in Delhi - 0815 hrs

Delhi - After breakfast, disembark into Delhi and bid farewell to the Train.
